Hello! Welcome! My name is Yuriria Estrada and I'm the Resource teacher at ACRA 21. It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to this 2016-2017 school year at ACRA 21.! I’m a Cal State Long Beach alumni and also hold a Master’s in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University. I’m pleased and excited to be your child’s resource teacher this year. I cannot wait to begin working with you to ensure his/her success this academic year. As the RSP teacher, my greatest priority will be to assist and support your child to reach all of his/her goals and succeed in their classes. Moreover, I will be planning and executing all IEP meetings in order to ensure you are fully aware of your child’s progress and services received. I consider communication to be an essential component in working together in order to overcome any obstacles that may arise during this year. Thus, I would like to extend an invitation for you to contact me through email, phone, or in person if you have any questions, comments or feedback regarding your child. I would like to emphasize that my greatest priority this year is your child’s success, and I strongly believe that our partnership will be key to this year’s success. Thank you very much for your time and attention. I’m excited and eager to begin creating strong and lasting relationships with you and your child. Together we will make this year one of great learning, memorable experiences and successes.
